St. Clair is a city located in St. Clair County, Michigan. As of the 2000 census, the city had a total population of 5,802. The city is located at the southeast corner of St. Clair Township.

According to the United States Census Bureau, the city has a total area of 8.9 km² (3.4 mi²). 7.2 km² (2.8 mi²) of it is land and 1.7 km² (0.6 mi²) of it is water. The total area is 19.01% water. The city is located along the St. Clair River and it once had the longest freshwater boardwalk in the world.
