St. Clair is a city located in St. Clair County, Michigan. As of the 2000 census, the city had a total population of 5,802. The city is located at the southeast corner of St. Clair Township.
According to the United States Census Bureau, the city has a total area of 8.9 km2 (3.4 mi2). 7.2 km2 (2.8 mi2) of it is land and 1.7 km2 (0.6 mi2) of it is water. The total area is 19.01% water. The city is located along the St. Clair River and it once had the longest freshwater boardwalk in the world.
